GETTING AROUND MUNICH
Munich has two electric-railway networks, the U-Bahn and the S-Bahn. electronica attendees can purchase a seven-day IsarCard for about EUR €20, which can be used to travel throughout the city. Be sure to purchase the IsarCard before the show starts to avoid long lines.

To reach the electronica fairgrounds, take the U-Bahn U2 line to either the Messestadt West or Messestadt Ost stops.
TRAVELING FROM MUNICH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO NOVOTEL MUENCHEN CITY HOTEL

Head to the Flughafen München Besucherpark S-Bahn station at the airport.

Take the S8 train toward Herrsching.

Ride for nine stops and disembark at the Rosenheimer Platz station. This should take approximately 30 minutes.

Take the stairs and follow signs to exit via Rosenheimer Platz, S bahn, Rosenheimer Straße.

Walk northwest on Rosenheimer Staße for about five minutes.

Turn left onto Hochstraße and walk another three minutes to Novotel Muenchen City.

Walk northeast on Hochstraße for about three minutes.​​

Turn right onto Rosenheimer Straße for about five minutes until you reach the Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn station. Enter the station via Rosenheimer Platz, S bahn and take the stairs down to the station.

Take the S4 line toward Grafing Bahnhof.

Ride for four stops and disembark at the Trudering station. This should take approximately nine minutes.

Transfer to the U-Bahn U2 line at the Trudering station.

Take the U2 line toward Messestadt Ost.

Ride for two stops and disembark at the Messestadt West station. This should take approximately three minutes.

Take the stairs and follow signs to exit via Messestadt West.

Head west for about two minutes toward Am Messesee.

Turn right onto Am Messesee and continue for another three minutes to reach Messe München.

Head southwest on Falkenstraße for about one minute. Trattoria Santa Maria will be on the right.

Ride the train for nine stops and disembark at the Flughafen München Besucherpark station. This should take approximately 35 minutes.

Arrive at Munich International Airport.
